How to Grow your social media!

How to be successful in the Social Media space.

Social media can be a huge asset to any business trying to grow. If you do it right that is.

The quick answer is to hire a social media expert to run your companies social media but that's not always an option if your a small business. So I have a few tips for you on how you can grow and have your Facebook page, Twitter account, or Instagram booming within the month.

Let's start with consistency, it's the main factor to any amount of social media success.

1. Get on a schedule, this will allow you too get seen, you need to understand traffic, if you have 10 followers and you post twice a month the chances of your post being buried in their notifications is high. If you post lets say, twice a day your more likely to be seen in their notifications. This is a double edged sword as nobody likes to be spammed by the same content

This leads us to our second tip, quality of the content.

1. Content quality is important as well, if you post the same style of post every time people will not want to see the same stuff over and over, so if you keep things fresh people will stay more engaged.

That brings us to our third and final tip, ENGAGEMENT. It is the most important of the three tips

1. Engaging with the viewer is the most important part of being on social media, it's actually the social part. Reply to every comment, post on other pages similar to yours (without direct self promotion, this is seen as a poor tactic in the publics eyes) and even offer a giveaway because everyone wants free stuff and if they just have to click a follow button to do so then you are in business.

These are the best tips I have come across in my ten year stint studying social media and I encourage you to do more research and find out what works for you.
