Instagram verification for brands

Edit to add: we spend over $100k a year with FB but no account rep has ever reached out.

I work for a 10+ year old fashion brand that has a huge following and has been worn by every celebrity under the sun.

Still stuck on Instagram verification. The issue is proving note worthiness.

Has anyone done this successfully? (Yes I believe we are truly noteworthy, compared to other similar brands who are verified).

I have trademarks etc and hundreds of articles mentioning us, specifically in "spotted on" type articles in say the Daily Mail (brand not in the headline), some about the brand from many various lower level publications, a range of articles about the founder/director in the context of fashion, but nothing particularly recent just about the brand from a major publisher online like Forbes.

How would I format my application particularly the noteworthiness criteria? A pdf of article headlines? Links? Full quotes? Scans from print publications mentioning us? Only articles with us in the headline? Only recent stuff? Stuff from the last 10+ years?

I know there are agencies that will do this for a few $$$ thousand but someone has to know!
