I feel like I don't "care" enough on social media.

Maybe I'm just selfish and only focus on what's currently in my life.

We all know that likes are an important part of social media. But honestly I find that once someone has been out of my life for a while and I see their posts, I just scroll past and think "another life update".

I've even unfollowed multiple people from my past school years and those I've only met once because we have no other contact besides likes. What's the point? Many were acquaintances anyway.

I just don't "get" social media I guess. So I've been feeling guilty and liking posts from people I have good memories with, not because I want to, but out of obligation.

Am I just overthinking "likes" and social media? Am I just uncaring and self centered?
