I have a question about Instagram impressions for posts that were promoted directly via the IG app. I recently had to promote carousel posts which I can only do via the app. When I was doing my performance reporting I noticed in the Instagram insights that those posts had a much higher number of impressions than posts that were promoted via the ad manager. Does anyone know why there is such a discrepancy? Also, is there a way to analyze their performance better? My clients want to know the organic impressions / reach and so far I haven't found the best way to calculate that.
