Looking for some advice on running an athlete's account

I want more brand awareness for this guy and he has access to other athletes/teams, etc. My first thought is to have partnerships with athletes that have a bigger network than his and more interactions with fans and then measure the success of it through a higher percentage of engagement, but not quite sure what else I could do to assist them in a short project. Thinking about 6 months turnaround.
