My Instagram account with about 28k followers was deactivated/disabled seven days ago without prior warning. During this time it said "user not found" and wasn't visible/able to be tagged.
I appealed this using the form provided by Facebook and two days later it was reactivated with an apology. I can once again see and tag my account.
However, I have not been able to log in since this started. I receive the message "Error. Sorry, there was a problem with your request."
I've contacted Instagram through the "get help signing in" link with various emails, including screenshots and the typical photo holding paper with a number scrawled on it.
I've tried their password reset link to no avail. One rep said they needed a fresh email unused by any other Instagram account. So I sent them one and got no reply.
Does anyone know if Instagram continues blocking people from accessing their accounts after being deactivated/reactivated after violating community guidelines? Like an additional secretive cooldown period? I just don't understand how I can SEE my account but can't log in.
My next step would be to run an ad and try and access FB chat support. Any success using this method?
