Help with internship application!

Hey y’all! I don’t have any experience in marketing/social media, but a company I’m hoping to intern at said they’d be interested in hiring me if I could work on their social media team. The application asks for a “social media sample” and I’ve tried googling but I can’t figure out what exactly that means. What would you recommend submitting as a social media sample, keeping in mind that I don’t have any previous experience creating professional content? The company is a nonprofit that provides family services, especially related to foster care and adoption. They use social media to spread word about fundraisers, special events, children looking for families, etc.

TL;DR What should I submit as a social media sample for a marketing job when I have no experience?
